Là Việt Coffee, Nguyễn Công Trứ

A Đà Lạt specialty roaster's factory café, a short way out of the centre.

Why it matters

Là Việt is a specialty roaster that started in Đà Lạt, in the middle of Vietnam’s main arabica province. Press reports from 2023 and 2024 say it opened its first café here in 2013; the company now has branches in other cities. A 2017 travel guide described this site as a warehouse-style café with a roastery that doubles as a barista training centre.

The company says it works with Đà Lạt growers. It does not name them, so we cannot check that.

Finding it

200 Nguyễn Công Trứ, a short way north of the centre. We have not been.

What to order

Coffee from the company’s own roasts. The tourism board’s write-up lists espresso-based drinks; no dated source we trust names more than that.
